Skiing
Ischgl awaits its visitors with a fantastic skiing experience. The Silvretta Arena lies at 2.872 m above sea level and offers winter sports enthusiasts more than 239 km of well-groomed ski runs and 45 different cable cars and ski lifts. From November until May there is snow security. Ischgl awaits you with exciting days in the snow. And since the skiing area of Ischgl and of Samnaun are linked, guests can ski across the border.
Tobogganing
An adventure of a special kind is the night-time tobogganing in Ischgl. With a length of 7 km Ischgl’s night-time toboggan run is one of the longest toboggan runs in the Alps. From mid-December to the beginning of April there are tobogganing evenings every Monday and Thursday and visitors can enjoy a thrilling ride down the mountain underneath the stars.
Cross-country skiing
The Nordic discipline of cross-country skiing is becoming more and more popular. Not without reason, because cross-country skiing is the perfect occupation to keep fit, switch off and enjoy the fresh Tyrolean mountain air. In Ischgl you find 73 kilometers of perfectly groomed cross-country skiing tracks. There are courses for beginners, advanced skiers and professionals, which makes it the prefect sport for almost everyone.
